God's Divine Academy in Ho

The school was founded in 2001. There are about 300 children who are between 2 and 14 years old in seven classes. We have 7 teachers and 3 employees in the office and in the kitchen. The school year is divided into three terms. The first term in the year is from September to December. The second one from January to April and the third term isfrom May to July. In August I offer a holiday class for pupils in the community.

30 children live on the school campus in the boarding house. School starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.

Volunteers wanted!!!

We are looking for Volunteers who want to help uns in our school in Ho or in our school in Kliko. We already had several volunteers working for us and it was a great experience: for the volunteers, for the children and - of course - for me.
We can host 4 volunteers in Ho and 2 volunteers in Kliko. During your stay in Ghana we want you to enjoy the time as much as you can. Of course the people, the language, the climate, the surrounding, the smell and the food are something very special for volunteers from Europe, America or Australia. That is the reason why we try to cook you some food you are used to, like rice, spaghetti or yam (that is comparable to the vegetable you know as potato).

We would be happy, if you have an education in teaching. But that is no assumption. We offer you every help you need, just ask!

God's Divine Academy in Klikor


On the first September we opened a new school at Klikor. This is a small village close to the Togo border and close to the ocean in the Ketu district. At the moment there is only on house where two teachers teach about 12 pupils. This is the beginning and it's in a process. Actually we have the problem that there are families who can't pay the school fees and teachers are expensive for us. Because of that volunteers are very important for the further development of this new school.

My name is Pastor Eric Kordorwu. I was born in 1958 and grew up in a small village with seven sisters and brothers in Ghana. It happens that I grew up in a broken home without knowing my mother. Before reaching the age of 15 I lost five brothers. I had to walk to school to another village about 6 miles away. Due to many sufferings while growing up I found myself in idol worshiping. By the grace of god I became a Christian 1980. 1981 I went to the bible school and I became a referent minister. From then the Lord put it on my head to help the needed. In Ghana it's hard to find quality education especially for the poor people. God gave me the vision to help the need ones in quality education. This is my dream. 2001 I started God's Divine Academy in Ho, Ghana. Now I try to open a new school in the village where I grew up.
